Valentine, Palentine, Galentine. How about Mylentine?

I’d like to share an odd idea with you: the physics behind self-care and self-love.

Recently I’ve been reading a lot about entropy, the concept of ever growing disorder tendency due to the spreading out of energy. Simple as this: the Second Law of Thermodynamics states that the entropy of a closed system will never decrease. Left alone, every system prefers chaos (state of maximum entropy) to order (minimum entropy).

Due to entropy or not, but our lives get more complicated over the years, life throws more and more at us, including curveballs (says the mother of 2 young children). And without care, things will decay - this is the rule of the universe.

Soooo (this must be out there with the most long-winded post-Valentine’s posts) I created a concept of #Mylentine, spreading pure self-love. There would be more and more plates spinning and less “me” time as years pass, so let’s claim the order back!

Let’s add new energy to slow down the chaos, create stability and build strength.

What is self-care for you?

For me it’s pampering: having a massage and my nails done; it’s driving and traveling with my hubby or ALONE; it’s finding time for gardening and DIY projects; it’s cooking new food. It’s looking after my body and soul in any way that pleases me.

With love,
